Through Yoga, TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises), Myofascial Release and community rituals, Aviva Levine and Nadia Imafidon are excited to hold the space for you to relax, soften, and come home to yourself. These practices are intentionally woven to work together: yoga moves, strengthens and steadies you, myofascial release softens the deep layers that holds chronic tightness, and TRE® discharges the tension stored in the nervous system. Layer by layer, body and mind are invited into balance.
Enjoy three daily organic and freshly curated meals, sit in ceremony (Aztec Sweat lodge option too), hike, dance, swim, play and make new friends! Set on the beautiful shores of the Pacific Ocean on the West Coast of Mexico, Mar de Jade sets the perfect environment for deep nourishment.
Whether that comes from the delicious farm-to-table meals, fresh juices, an afternoon in a hammock, our daily practices, an excursion into the jungle, or the melody of the ocean -this retreat invites slowing down, self-reflection, and play. Aviva Levine
Trained as a Forrest Yoga teacher under Ana Forrest, Aviva Levine is fascinated with the body’s ability to transform and she is inspired to help others experience this evolution within themselves. She supports cultivating a deeper connection to the body and Spirit through Yoga, Pilates, TRE® and Craniosacral work. Embracing compassion, curiosity and humor, Aviva provides tender space to move from struggle and limitation, towards integration of body, mind and soul. Aviva is the founder of Breathe In Love Retreats and one of the founders of Breathing Room. Nadia Imafidon
Yoga has helped Nadia Imafidon manage debilitating depression and anxiety for many years. When she found yoga, she began unraveling and unlearning the mental anguish and pain she’d carried since she was a young girl Because she didn’t feel safe enough to access that pain, she pushed her body aside and lived for decades in her mind instead of her body. She now offers yoga practices to inspire others to tap into body wisdom, and practice radical self-love and self-compassion through self-exploration. Nadia is a 200-hour holistic hatha yoga teacher and reiki healer based in Oakland. She offers moving meditations and accessible ways to help you tend to the mind, while honoring your physical body as it is today. Whether it’s yoga or myofascial release, she’ll guide you through postures and simple strategies to release tension, enhance body awareness, and improve overall wellbeing.
