About the Retreat

In this nourishing retreat, we will cultivate mindfulness, vitality and ease through yoga, meditation, pranayama and Ayurvedic principles. The morning session will integrate guided meditation with a mindful flowing asana practice. In the early evening we will practice “yoga bliss” a rejuvenation practice that draws from restorative yoga, yin yoga and yogic breathing practices. The afternoons will be free to swim and relax, receive healing spa treatments or partake in optional daily excursions such as: a Temezcal sweat ceremony, hike to a secluded beach with caves, pre-Hispanic petroglyph trip, bird-watching, whale watching and a traditional Mexican market.

About the Teachers

Ronly Blau

Ronly Blau is a certified Yoga instructor and Ayurvedic practitioner who has been teaching yoga since 2000. She is a graduate of the Mindful Yoga and Meditation Training at Spirit Rock and alsi trained with Kathleen Hunt. She co-authored the book, The Mindbody Cleanse. “My interest is in creating yoga classes that nourish the mind-body, awaken awareness, and unify us as community. I teach a mindful flowing yoga class that incorporates pranayama, meditation and Ayurveda. The cohesive and creative sequencing of poses is influenced by my previous occupation as a professional dancer. The emphasis on mindfulness is a reflection of a longtime practice in vipassana meditation. In short, we practice a deliberate flowing sequence of asanas integrated with moments of stillness and deep reflection.”
