About the Retreat
Give yourself a weeks gift of wholesome functional yoga, beach meditation (optional), memorable connections and the natural beauty of the Pacific ocean. TK and Sundari invite you to Mar de Jade; this wellness retreat center where YOU will experience for yourself love- filled yoga classes, absolute tranquility, delicious food, self reflection and amazing sunsets. Our intention is to provide for everyone a relaxing, rejuvenating and playful six days where the jungle meets the ocean.
This retreat is welcome to all levels of yoga experience where all props including chairs are accessible to us. Spa treatments and local excursions are also available at an additional cost for those interested. All farm fresh meals are included and special diet needs met by their outgoing staff.

About the Teachers
TK
I’ve had a love affair with yoga for over 30 years. Coming from a dance fitness background, I’ve always been fascinated by body mechanics. My study of Yoga revealed the truth of integrated components within the body from bone, muscles, connective tissue, synapses in the brain; all the way down to the cellular level. I have acquired many certifications in many different schools of yoga over the years, but now I simply practice and teach a combination of those yoga truths that keep the body fit, strong and flexible, and nourish your inner light… if you are breathing and aware of your breath you are doing yoga! On its deepest level, yoga renews your relationship with yourself – on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level and brings those beautiful aspects into balance. When I’m not on my mat I love being outside with my Italian Spinoni, Aggy or reading, and contemplating this funny world.
Sundari
Yoga experienced with Sundari connects you to the source of your own inner radiance, that vibration which reflects your own intelligence and divinity. With 40+ years in study of yoga, Sundari’s instruction is open-hearted and deeply informed. She began teaching yoga in 1987. Sundari has studied under some of the most influential masters of yoga including Iyengar and Anusara yoga, specializing in the advanced therapeutic health and art of deep listening in that yoga develops. Her gift in sensitivity, humor and expertise holds the highest intention for students to reveal their own inner love and presence.
