Join Chris and Erica for an active, peaceful, laughter filled week of learning and sharing. You will leave well-rested, yet exhilarated, ready to return to your daily life with a new perspective and the tools to maintain focus and calm even in the midst of chaos. This retreat will inspire you to continue a consistent practice once you return home with the tools to establish your yoga practice as your wellness ally.
We feel fortunate to return to Mar de Jade for our 2nd retreat at this incredible location. Mar de Jade Retreat Center is perfectly nestled between the tropical jungle and the pristine sandy beach of Chacala, Mexico. If this is your first yoga retreat or your tenth, we welcome you to join us for a week of rejuvenation, rediscovery and relaxation!
Erica’s morning classes will gently introduce you to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga and focus on the ‘invisible’ techniques that will lead you to a meditation in motion. For those familiar with Ashtanga you will deepen your understanding of Breath, Bandhas, and Drishti as you take the time to slow down and tune inward.
Chris’ afternoon classes are a balm to the soul and the perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring, swimming or sunning. The practice of yoga is meant to help you feel open and grounded. To reunite the mind, body and soul into the present moment. Chris’ classes set the stage for you to do just that.

Chris MoDavis
Chris’ classes are a constant reminder to slow down and breathe, to feel, and to listen. When we allow ourselves to let go of the things we no longer need, we give ourselves the opportunity to search within. We can tap into our inner child, re-ignite our passions, and remember what it means to truly live again. During Chris’ classes you can feel free to let your guard down, to be yourself, and to fully let go while allowing the practice of yoga to fill you up as needed. They are just a simple reminder to use the tools that you’ve had since birth, to find strength, balance and flexibility, both in the body and the mind. @theroostyoga
