This is a retreat for women of any age, although most of our participants tend to be mid-life or past.  The retreat includes brief presentations by Dr. Hocker, large and small group discussions, facilitated writing and art experiences, and quiet journaling on one’s own.

Programa

We will spend the mornings in a group session, often splitting into smaller groups to help everyone be heard.  Cyndy will integrate art ideas to help anchor what we are learning and exploring.  The afternoons are free for relaxation, spa services, swimming and beach time.  The charming small town of Chacala, with shops and refreshments, is located in easy walking distance at the other end of the bay.  All our meals will be shared together at Mar de Jade, at our own private tables. Guided yoga and meditation may be available, depending on which teachers are in residence at the retreat center.  We have access to our yoga studio space any time we are not in session, for art, journal writing, quiet contemplation, or spontaneous yoga (self-led.) We will cap the group at 17, not including leaders.

Retreat Fee to Dr. Hocker by July 1.  $600.  Rooms are booked directly with Mar de Jade.  Please contact Dr. Hocker if you have not attended previous retreats to determine whether this is the right retreat for you.
