Kate Zuckerman

Kate Zuckerman began teaching yoga in 2002 and is the founder and former director of Common Ground Healing Arts, a nonprofit organization that brings complementary health services to Charlottesville, VA and the surrounding communities on a donation basis. Kate’s teaching incorporates the philosophy of yoga and emphasizes presence, peace, and poise in each pose. Students will hold postures for a period of time in order to learn more about themselves and the pose. Kate is grateful to her primary teacher, Kofi Busia, who is one of the world’s foremost instructors in the Iyengar tradition.
