Anna Beaumont
Anna Beaumont has been studying the voice and its powerful connection to life, harmony and vibration for over twenty years. Her integrative approach combines the worlds of singing, the Chakra energy system, psychology and spirituality to help awaken the natural voice within. She has been called a musical shaman who works “between the worlds” helping you to see what you cannot see, finding the natural and sacred voice that you have inside of you that is innocent, wild and free. Anna gently guides people to release and uncover their natural voice through building inner and outer connections to their voice, body and emotions. It is at once a celebration of the raw, primal sounds of humanity and the refined, precise beauty the singing voice offers us from other realms. Anna’s career highlights include “opening” for Dr. Maya Angelou and Deepak Chopra, touring with Mary Wilson and composing various theme songs, including the 2001 World Games and the Western Canadian Breast Cancer Association. She has recorded four CD’s – her latest album ‘The Doorway’ is a celebration of the mystical poetry of Rumi, the singing of which she incorporates in her workshops.
