At Mar de Jade we are dedicated to creating a peaceful and caring environment, where you can rest and enjoy a simple way of life in an inspiring natural setting. We live by the values of gratitude, community service and sustainability.
Mar de Jade is a home to many, and when you visit us, you become part of the family.
Three generations of the del Valle family live here, working alongside a wonderful and dedicated staff – some of whom have been with Mar de Jade for decades. Spiritual and wellness teachers come back year after year to facilitate retreats and you can feel the spirit of service and friendship in the air.
Mar de Jade’s commitment to serving local communities — from our first medical clinic in the early 1980s—has grown into MDJ Community Projects, a non-profit that runs education, health, and micro-industry programs, and a 17-acre organic farm.
