Fall Reset is a seven-day yoga retreat in Chacala, Mexico, created for those seeking rest, reconnection, and renewal in a peaceful coastal setting. Held at Mar de Jade, a well-established yoga and wellness retreat center nestled between the jungle and the sea, this yoga retreat offers the ideal environment to slow down, reset your nervous system, and reconnect with what matters most.
Led by Shane and Vinita, the retreat includes twice-daily yoga. Morning sessions are energizing and grounding, while evening practices gently wind the day down through restorative movement and kirtan. Optional morning meditation provides a calm, accessible start to the day—no prior meditation experience required.
Afternoons are intentionally spacious, offering a balance of structure and freedom. Guests may choose from optional workshops, spa treatments, pool time, or organized group activities such as sweat lodge ceremonies, farm tours, or garden volunteering. Participation is always optional, allowing each guest to follow their own rhythm and energy.
Meals at Mar de Jade are abundant, nourishing, and farm-to-table. Breakfast is served buffet-style at communal tables, while dinners are thoughtfully prepared and shared in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that encourages connection and ease.
Rooted in service and community care, Mar de Jade supports local initiatives including an organic farm, a community school, and youth education programs. A portion of each stay contributes directly to these efforts, allowing guests to give back to the land and community that hosts them.
This yoga retreat is open to individuals, couples, and friends at all stages of life. Whether you are navigating transition or simply seeking rest and clarity, Fall Reset offers a supportive space to arrive as you are and leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and renewed.

Vinita Laroia
Vinita has been practicing yoga since 1998, a journey shaped by years of study, travel, and living close to nature in places such as Colorado, Wyoming, Japan, and California. She has studied with well-known and lesser-known teachers across vinyasa, yin, barre, meditation, Pilates, sound therapy, and recently became a NASM-certified trainer. Her teaching is grounded, intuitive, and thoughtfully layered, offering students both the encouragement to explore their physical edge and also the permission to truly rest. Known for her calming voice and ability to hold a supportive, nurturing space, she inspires a path both on and off the mat. https://www.vinitayoga.com
Shane Davis
In 2014 Shane made a life changing leap many people dream of: he left his languishing 15-year medical career to work in preventative healthcare and teach yoga. Raised in a Protestant culture and leaving the church at 19, he studied Buddhism, meditation, and Existentialist philosophy throughout his twenties. In 2008, while on an online date, he entered his first yoga class. As a studied classical pianist who grew up singing hymns, Shane is drawn to the Bhakti practice of chanting (kirtan), and teaches a weekly class mixing kirtan and vinyasa flow. Leading classes and teacher trainings, Shane is also a personal coach, helping people to learn from and resolve the past, and create a meaningful future. https://www.shaneadavis.com
